During
the summer of 2005 the Waterloo Fire Department responded along with
106 other Wisconsin Fire Departments to a large tire fire as mutual
aid for the Watertown Fire Department. The Waterloo Fire Department
was one of several area departments that operated the scene for the
entire five days of the incident.
Ladder 3
was rotated in to place several times throughout the incident.

A
special penetrating foam was brought in from Georgia to assist with
extinguishing the blaze. The two engines from the Watertown Fire
Department on the left operated for the entire five days of the
incident.


Waterloo
Fire Department Squad 6 was used to transport crews to and from the
fire.
